Today in Sacrament Meeting a boy was up sharing and he started it with saying, "I didn't grow up here, I didn't grow up in the Jello Belt". Ha ha! I love it! I hope this makes sense to everyone enjoying my blog, a few people at church seemed a little confused at this.
I'm grateful for people sharing their testimonies, it takes some guts. I hope you have a wonderful week, I will! Tomorrow is the beginning of the last week of the semester!

I saw your comment on Becca's ASL picture and I was excited that you have a blog! It's so cute! That Jello comment is hilarious!
We had a great meeting today too. A couple weeks ago, we had a cool one where the program was blank. Everyone was so nervous about "impromptu" talks or testimony. people were madly writing notes "just in case". The Bishop told everyone to relax, and that he asked 8 people to pick their favorite hymn and tell why it was important to them. At the end, they announced the number and we sang it. It was a very powerful meeting, and one I'll never forget. I wish we had another one like it "my favorite CHRIST-centered Chistmas ever". Just did a FHE on that with the family and guests, and I loved it.
I got it. Jello belt--Utah Mormons bring Jello to everything. Ha ha ha. :) It must be because Jello is cheap and so are Mormons. ;) Although, growing up in the Jello belt, I did not eat very much of it. You'd think Jello ran through my veins but it doesn't. I've never been a big fan. Go figure.
