I am odd. This is a fact. Everyday I look at jewelry on Craigslist, particularly wedding rings. I do this not because I'm looking to buy my own wedding ring, but because I love how sometimes people include awesome/awful stories. Often times it's just a simple, "She said NO!" but today I came across this one....
"guy meets girl, girl talks guy into buying ring, girl cheats on guy, guy has ring and no girl. :(
Really this is a killer deal!! :) Retail, this ring goes for 6,670.00. Never been worn, and am willing to take a hit on what I got it for. I Have all its papers. You can contact me by either through e-mail or my cell"
So sad, but it keeps me entertained and it's a great distraction when I'm sick of studying or grading papers. Thanks Craigslist!!!

I'm not really a fan of that diamond or setting. That is such a sad story! At least they didn't get married, that would have been awful! He's better off without her.
I'm not a fan of the ring either. Why don't people get the loaner rings or a fake one if they want to propose? What do I know about rings--Nothing.
I would cheat on him too if he bought me that ring.
I would have not cheated, but probably scratched his car with it, because the setting is ANCIENT OF DAYS, and I'm sure it's from the 50s and so "not in" right now. He clearly stole it from his grandmother's dresser. He's a creep and selling it for drugs. Trust Momma on that one.
