Today is Pioneer Day here in Utah and we are celebrating the anniversary of the day Mormon pioneers first came into the Salt Lake valley. On Wednesday I went to the "This is the Place" monument with my sister and her family. I had never been there before and it's pretty cool...if you like history. Good thing I do!

This is a view of the Salt Lake valley from where they entered. Can you imagine seeing this sight after months and months of painful travel?
